- Leasing agents can submit their real estate license for review, and verified agents are labeled on their profile.
About the founder
Lease Local was founded by Ally Berger, a third-generation commercial property owner in Pittsburgh. She runs B.I.G. Spaces, the company her grandfather started, which owns and operates retail, office, flex, and warehouse space.
Years of leasing those buildings showed her the same problem from both the tenant and landlord perspectives. The deals are too small for most brokers. The landlords are independent owners with no marketing help. The tenants are business owners with little experience and not enough time for the commercial leasing process. Existing platforms were built for investors or large corporations, not for an independent store that needs 1,200 square feet on a main street.
So she built the site she wanted to use. Lease Local is commercial leasing only. Searching is free for tenants and always will be. Listing a space takes a few minutes. And the contractors, attorneys, designers and other vendors who are needed during the process have a page to advertise as well.
Lease Local started in Pittsburgh and is built to work in any market in the United States.
